Jason Thayer is a Lead Pastor of The Deliverance Tabernacle in Hartselle, Alabama, where he serves with his wife, Pastor Ginger Day-Thayer. Together they lead a Spirit-filled congregation committed to sound biblical teaching, deliverance ministry, and raising up believers who walk in freedom.

​Some of Jason's earliest memories of the Gospel come from the road. His mom and stepdad (Kevin Mullins) were full-time traveling evangelist, carrying the Word from state to state. Preaching in churches large and small, and occasionally setting up an old canvas Army tent to hold revival meetings wherever the Lord led. Jason spent his summers with them on the road, watching them preach to whoever gathered, in whatever town they landed in. Those summers left their mark, and changed him, long before he ever stepped into ministry himself.

Jason is a graduate of World Harvest Bible College. His preaching is known for being conversational, direct, and rooted in Scripture, the kind of teaching that meets you where you are and calls you higher. Whether he's unpacking a passage verse by verse or bringing a word for the moment, his goal is always the same: point people to Jesus and equip them to live free.

He's the author of The Atmosphere of Expectancy, and alongside Ginger, he helped found Fire School to take that same teaching, deliverance, breakthrough, and biblical truth, beyond the four walls of the church and into homes everywhere.

Jason and Ginger believe every believer is called to walk in authority, break every chain, and live in the fullness of what God has for them. That's the heart behind everything Fire School does.
